Monday already!

Where on earth has the weekend gone? They seem to get shorter each week :o(
Friday night we went to Jugs' house for Fireworks which was good, the kids seemed to enjoy them anyway. Saturday Elise went to her dad's in the morning and me and Dave didn't really do a lot. Went out on Saturday night for a couple of hours then went back to Cerrie and Mickey's with Joanna and Lewis. Yesterday me and Dave went shopping to Asda then we went to Blyth to drop off some photos of a wedding Dave did recently.
Elise went to see the fireworks last night in Morpeth at the Rugby club and came home about 8ish. We watched Changeling last night with Angelina Jolie which was really good.
I went and got weighed on Friday after work and lost 4.5lbs so was pleased with that, just need to keep it up.
Staying late at work tonight to try and get some work done on my assignment for uni. I've got to have it done for the 11 December so really need to get my skates on.

Happy Guy Fawkes!

Really feeling the cold today. I'm bloody freezing. Not done much the last few nights, Tuesday night I did housework so very boring then last night I was supposed to be at UNI but unfortunately Dave was at the dentist and didn't get back until nearly six bells so I decided to give it a miss. I've handed my proposal for my work based assignment in so need to get cracking with the actual assignment. I'm planning on looking at our organisation's development review process then give recommendations for improvements. I also need to hand in my finance portfolio and sit an assessment for that. These all need to be done before Christmas so I think I better get my skates on ha ha.
Watched The Family last night and really enjoyed it. I watched it last year and thought it was fab. Chanel 4, nine o clock on a Wednesday. Went to bed after that and read for a while, nearly finished my book so need to go to Asda today and purchase a new one. Going to nip over at lunch time actually as need to get a hair dye. Just want my roots doing so going to do it myself then make an appointment at the hairdressers nearer Christmas.
Diet going well. Day 4 already so should hopefully be in ketosis now. Drinking 2 litres of a water a day no problem so just need to keep it up. Going to put my tan on tonight and dye my hair. Tomorrow night as I said we're going to Jugs' house for Fireworks with the kids so looking forward to that.
Elise did her list for Santy last night. It's not too bad but she's had a change of heart and has decided she doesn't want an X Box now she wants a PS3 with Rock Band. Hmmmmm curious, I think Mr Muckle could have had something to do with this but not to worry. I did quite a lot of shopping online yesterday and got the majority of the rest of the families so really just got Elise to focus on now.
I've decided to change my ticker to a count down to Christmas as I've kind of messed the diet one up however I will be blogging my weight loss still.

Time to focus!

Well it's only 51 days until Christmas so need to get my but into gear and get back on track. Went and got weighed last Friday and it wasn't the best news in the world but to be fair I can't expect much else as all we seem have done since my birthday is gone out and ate and drink. Had loads of fun doing it though :o)
Edinburgh was fabulous, as usual we had a great time, it was a hoot and we really hit on with the weather as it was lovely.
Went to Staffordshire last week to visit Dave's mam which was really nice. We stayed in a lovely hotel for two nights. On the Wednesday we went to Trentham Gardens and Monkey forest which was amazing, the monkeys were so cute. Elise had an absolutely great time. It is such a lovely part of the country and fab shops ha ha.
So need to get back down to business on the diet front. I'm back on Sole source and am trying hard to up my water intake as I know I feel better the more water I drink. Days 1 - 3 are pooh. Don't know why I don't just bloody stick to it once I'm in ketosis then I wouldn't need to keep going through this awful part but hey ho suppose I'm only human. I have a few hurdles to get over before Christmas which is going to be difficult, first one is Bonfire night this Friday as we're having a party at Jugsy's house. Then on the 5 December we're going back to Edinburgh for the weekend, I need to tell myself I have been to Eddy before whilst being on SS therefore I can do it again.. The next one is the 12 December when I am going out for Christmas do with girls from work. We are going to Gusto's on the Quayside which could prove difficult. But one day at a time me thinks.
Work now has a gym which I am intending on using once I get over my first week so there is really no excuse as I can do this in my lunch hour. Nice Mind.
Elise is happy as larry at the minute, she's starting to look forward to Christmas. She doesn't know really what she wants for Christmas though so she needs to get her thinking cap on so we can send her letter to Santy. (Think we might just get away with another year). She has mentioned an X Box so we have gotten her one of them and I think we are going to get her rock band and lips. This will be her main pressie though and she won't be getting a lot else. Marma asked her the other day what she wanted off her and she said "I don't think I need anything this year granny" ha ha. Bless her.
She's loving middle school and seems to be doing really well. She just comes in and gets on with her homework I'm pleased to say so we haven't had any issues there YET!!
Anyhoo going to try and keep blogging to keep myself on the straight and narrow hopefully.

Been a while!

Been super busy the last few weeks and been pretty crap on the diet front too. Oops. Going back on Friday to see what the damage is but back on track again so should be able to repair some of it before then.
Since last blogging sadly my Grandma Mary died, bless her, she has been in a care home for a while and to be honest she had no quality of life as she had alzheimers. We had the funeral last week but the ashes were buried this morning. Very sad but best for grandma.
Elise has settled in great at school and still seems to be enjoying it. Went to Mal Maison on Friday night for Louise's 40th. Had a fab time and hotel was gorgeous.
Went back to uni a week past Wednesday and that was fine, got two big assignments to do, one a work based one and the other a finance report bah, not nice mind.
Going to Edinburgh this weekend to see Holly and Nev so really looking forward to that. Elise is away all weekend as she is going to Thomas world with her cousin and aunty from her dads side.
Think the three of us are going to go and see Dave's mam in the half term holidays which are coming up which will be nice as don't think we are going to get away abroad now what with one thing and another so think we will just have some weekends away.

My Friday :o)

Well unfortunately I didn't go spinning very bad girl I know, however by the time it got to 5 o clock I felt like I had no bones in my body, not a good feeling, I think it's the old ketosis kicking in which is good as at least I know it's working but it makes you feel crap. So call it an excuse but I didn't go Spinning. Maybe next week. Diet wise however going great day 4 of sole source and feeling pretty good if not a little weak.
Didn't do much last night Elise just played out until about 7ish then got bathed and sorted and had an early night. She had her first lot of homework last night which was to decorate her French book with all things French so she enjoyed that as she is quite arty, but she is so blinking particular, she did a fab drawing of the Eiffel Tower. Need to go and get her some sticky back plastic today to cover it.
Dave's back into the swing of work and has all his schools sorted, he has gotten a few new ones this year in Seaton Sluice and Cramlington so more work for Mr M :o)
Going over to Cerrie and Mickey's tonight as me and Mr M are both off tomorrow woo hoo. Got a busy day tomorrow but just doing nice things though. Going to get weighed at 10.30am then having my nails filled at 11.00am then off to town to spend some of our vouchers we got for our birthday's so that should be fun.
Mam and Dad rang the other night and said they were having a fabulous time and resort etc was amazing, nice for some eh.

Ketosis and Spinning!

Day 3 again of sole source so hopefully after today I should be back in ketosis. Hasn't been too bad just been a bit ratty with Mr M, oops. Watched Angels and Demons last night on dvd and really enjoyed it, Dave didn't think much of it but that's not surprising really, not really his thing.
Elise is still really enjoying Middle School and seems to be taking it all in her stride. However the lovely new uniform was hung up lovely on her first night after school but last night, nah, chucked on the floor, didn't think that would last long.
Work's going fine at the mo but really busy, still loads going on for us and a million things to do. Phase 2 of the Resource Centre is up and running and looks fab but bringing a lot more work with it.
Last week in my wisdom I thought it would be a good idea to book into spinning tonight, nice mind. So off I go at 5.45pm tonight at Newbiggin so I probably won't be able to walk tomorrow. Need to do some exercise though so hopefully this is a start.
I'm off on Friday as me and Dave were supposed to be going to Town to watch one of his ex pupils play but he doesn't start until 11bells and it was just going to end up being a bit of a hassle so we've decided to give it a miss but I'm still going to take Friday off and might go to town and do some shopping then I'm going to go and get my nails infilled.
Friday night we're going to Emma and Lee's with Leesco then Saturday afternoon Dave is doing a race I think in Rothbury. No plans as yet for Saturday night so we shall see what happens. Weekends are always a bummer on this diet but hey ho.
Can't believe I'm back to uni next Wednesday the summer has just absolutely flown over.

Back on it and Leesco's first day at Middle School!

Went and got weighed and Friday and it wasn't good news, however I've had my birthday and it's just a case of getting back on track. I would like to lose another 2 stone to get to goal and I would be happy. I'm hoping my holiday at the end of Ocotber hopefully can be my focus and motivation.
Went over to Linda's on Friday night and had a girly night there which was good fun then Saturday seeing it was such a fab day we sat in the garden and drank pimms which was nice. Saturday was Mickey's birthday so our Cerrie had a bit of a do for him at theirs on Saturday night which was a howl and ended up very messy, put it this way Kings and permanent marker don't go well especially when evil Mr Bates is involved. ha ha.
Yesterday we went home and got ready then went out for lunch to the half moon in stakeford which was really nice and would recommend there Sundays dinners to anyone who isn't on Cambridge diet. After lunch we went home and dossed for the rest of the day. Watching dvd's and eating rubbish, oops.
It's Elise's first day at Middle School and she went off with her lovely new uniform on looking very grown up with her massive bags which are the size of her. Bless her. Going to go home at 1 bell to meet my hubby for lunch well porridge, he's back to school now also.

30 Something!!

Well it's over I'm not longer in my 20's. Boo hoo. Anyhoo had the most fantastic weekend EVER!!! The party went really well and everything was perfect. There was just enough people there for the size of the room and everything was great. Saturday we headed off to Alnwick at lunch time and went to Blackmores for lunch then checked into the hotel. We had our own private room for our meal which was really lovely. Dave and Cerrie decorated it all and it looked fab. The whole evening was just once again perfect. Sunday we made our way home about lunch time but we were shattered. Me and Dave had a little sleep when we got home and woke up about 5ish. We decided to go for an Italian's in Morpeth then out for a few drinks so it ended up the perfect way to end a fab weekend.
As you can imagine the diet has some what gone out of the window, however I'm going to get weighed on Friday to face the music then back on track on Monday, I know I should probably start on Saturday but it's Mickey's birthday so we will be going over there so a couple more days won't hurt.
I thought I would be feeling a bit crap with all the build up but to be honest I'm feeling quite positive. Work's going well, Elise is starting middle school and things are generally good :o)
Dave went back to work yesterday for the first day, it was just an initial meeting though so he's off again today lol. Him and Elise start back officially on Monday. She's really looking forward to it.
Still looking for holidays, think it's going to be the end of October and probably Lanzarote, so at least we've still got that to look forward to.
Going out for lunch with work today as our Project manager is leaving who will be a huge miss. We're going to the Black Door in Morpeth which used to be Henri's, I've not been since it's changed but it's supposed to be nice, I'll be making the most of it. LOL!

Two new additions to the Muckle family :0)

Tuesday already, had a great weekend, Friday as I said we had Emma, Lee, Lewis and Andrew over. Saturday we got up and once we'd done a bit house work we had a walk over to the Fox Cover as it was a lovely day. We sat outside and had a few drinks then Cerrie, Mickey and the kids came and met us. It was really nice. We went home about sixish and sat in the garden. Claire and Chris came over later on followed by Chris' brother Pete and his girlfriend Lyndsey. We had a great night.
Sunday we got up and pottered round for a bit then went to meet my mam and dad at the Block and Tackle with Lewis, we stayed there till about 5.30 then came home as Elise was coming home with the two new rabbits, they are so cute. Once is her old rabbit called Sweetie and the other one is his son, Peter. They have separate hutches as apparently they will fight but they are just lovely.
Got my dress for the party on Sunday, I love it. Just need to sort shoes, bag and jewelery out then that's me sorted and Leesco still needs some new shoes. Uniform's all sorted ready for middle school. She looks so grown up.
She's off to Yasmin's this afternoon for her birthday, they are going to Gianni's for their tea then she's staying over.
Got another busy weekend this weekend then it's bank holiday Monday wooppee. Only 3 days at work for me next week.

Just today!

Struggling to keep up with the days now so no more counting days, it's annoying now. Been to get weighed and have lost 1.5lbs so not bad going considering I've been having food. Went to Matalan last night and got our big numbers (balloons) for the party, I also got some more confetti and bought a lovely dress (see picture)(yes Dave another one) but it was only £16 bargain.
Got Mer and Lee coming over tonight for drinks, going to make fajitas too.
Got to get back to work now.

DAY 100 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My goodness 100 days and only a few slip ups. Had a bit of a disastrous weekend in the diet sense but other wise great. Friday I ended up not getting weighed as I didn't have the car and to be honest I had enough left to do me for a few more days, I was supposed to be going tonight but I've just emailed Paula and I'm going to wait until Friday.
Went to a friend of Joanna's on Friday night and had a really good night but did have some food. Saturday I took Dave and the boys to Morpeth then I went to Whitley with Leeney and Michelle. We had a great night it was good fun. I have to say there was some bonny sights in the Bay ha ha. Put it this way the girls were scrapping on the stage in Pier 39, classy.
On Sunday we went to Gianni's (yes bloody Gianni's) and again I had food. Bad, bad, bad girl. However since then I'm back to SS and feel fine. I'm just going to have to see how I've done on Friday. I felt a bit rubbish on Sunday night about it but to be honest now I know that I just have to get back on with it which I'm not finding too bad. :0) I certainly don't feel any worse or like I have put weight on so fingers crossed I might just get away with it.
Getting very excited for the party only 16 days to go woo hoo. Still got to get plates and cutlery, go and get the balloons and nip to Matalan. I've booked my nails, tan and eyelash extensions for the Thursday night. I have actually ordered another dress which is fab so may have changed my mind about the outfit but shall wait and see. Dave is not very enthusiastic about the whole thing at the mo because he knows that when the party is here his summer holidays are kind of over, what a bloody shame eh. Ha ha.
On the holiday front think we may have had another rethink on the dates, feeling a bit bad about taking Leesco out of school so think we may go in the October holidays. I suppose it's not that far away. It's going to be a bit more expensive but I suppose it'll be better for her. It's crap really the fact that they discourage you to take your children out of term time but at the end of the day when you're looking at £1000 more, well.
Had our Liam to stay last night, they were both hyper, very funny, they just wind each other up something rotten. Elise has got her friend coming to stay on Thursday then she is staying at her dad's on Friday and Saturday this week, so she's being kept busy.
Think I'm going to have a clear out of my wardrobe's tonight they are a tip, also could really do with throwing some clothes away which don't fit anymore but I'm rubbish and just hang on to things.
Off up the street now in the rain to go to the bank. Boo.

Day 95 Walking!!

Well, only 95 days into my diet and I got off my lazy ass and went for a walk last night. We got in and Dave had his tea and I got in the bath then I was once again a bit lost with out Elise so Dave suggested we go for a walk around the lake, so off we went about 8 o clock, it was really lovely and took us about 45 mins to walk about 2 and a half miles so not bad. Only thing I didn't like were the little midgey fly things, bah horrid.
Dave went yesterday up to his grandpa's house in Wooler to pick up the mattress from his house as he had a brand new mattress still in the cover and we could do with a new one so he took the little van from my work and picked it up. Only problem is our bed base is king size but it is a double mattress, hmm, anyhoo Dave has put it on and it is actually fine, just a slight gap at either side. We both slept great last night though so it's done the trick and stopped Dave moaning about his side being down hill.
Had toothache all morning so have been to the dentist at lunch time and he says it is is my wisdom tooth coming through, he's given me some anti biotics but said to wait and see how it is over the weekend and if it is no better then to start taking them.
Cerrie rang last night and they are still having a great time and informed us they won't be coming back until FRIDAY!! Mind they must be having fun.
This weekend I'm going to a house party with Jugs on Friday night then Saturday Dave is going out to Morpeth with the boys for his birthday so I'm dropping them off at 2 o clock then going over to Leeney's as we are going to Whitley. Woo Hoo !! Can't wait.
Day 3 of being back on sole source so hopefully should be back into ketosis after today. :0) May even go crazy and go out on my bike tonight but will let you know.

Day 94 Going Good!

Well managed to stay 100% Sole Source yesterday which I'm pleased about, as it is hard sometimes to get back into it. Had a really busy day yesterday work wise as both the girls were off so my day flew. Dave picked me up then he went for a run and I just tidied up and did a bit of housework. When he came back we went to Asda and got his tea and I bought a new book. When we got home we watched a bit of telly then went up to bed. Once again we are a bit lost without Leesco as she is off camping with aunty Cerrie, Uncle Mickey, Liam and Cerys. They are having a fab time and apparantley the weather has been really nice. BUT, poor little Cerys!!! Cerrie rang yesterday to say she had been stung by an evil wasp, not once but twice, poor little thing. She was very brave though and didn't cry much. Argh bless her heart.
I've really missed them, as I haven't seen them all since last Friday :0(
So, feeling quite good and very focused. Going to go and have my porridge for my dinner now. I've got my outfits sorted for my party and the Saturday night, they fit, but I think if I could just lose another 1/2 stone they would look better. Very excited now, can't wait. x x

Day 87 - 93 Happy Birthday Hubby for Saturday!!

Again, I can't believe where the time has gone, since I last blogged it has been Lydia's (our god daughter) birthday so we went round to see her on Thursday night. Friday we had pre Dave's birthday drinks at ours and Jill, Marc and the boys, Cerrie Mickey and the kids, Janine, Chris, Lewis, Andrew and Jugs all came over. It was really nice and we sat out in the garden whilst the kids played.
Saturday was obviously Dave's birthday and he had a lovely day. I got him a new wedding ring (long story but he lost his last one), aftershave, a ted baker jumper, a shirt, slippers, dressing gown. Anti wrinkle cream lol, smellys, socks and undies, so he was very spoilt. He also got money from family and friends. Elise got picked up at 11 then we got ready and headed to Wooler about 3ish. We had a fab afternoon / night and came back home the next day about lunch time. We then went to the Block and Tackle to meet mam and dad and Emma, Lee, Claire and Chris popped in to see us so all in all a fab weekend.
Yesterday (Monday) I had booked off so we just had a lovely lie in then went and did some shopping and went for our lunch. From here I will carry on regarding the diet. Since doing add a meal I have struggled a bit, some days I haven't had anything but then others for example yesterday I had a Sunday dinner, so not great really. BUT, back on sole source from today. I know I'm going to be out of ketosis so may struggle a bit for a couple of days but hey ho. I'm not going to beat myself up about it, it was Dave's birthday and I enjoyed it so I'm putting it behind me and back on track. I got weighed on Friday and lost 1.5lb so at least I still lost and I don't think that's too bad considering it was add a meal, just hope I haven't done too much damage over the weekend. I've got a good 3 days now to get myself back into ketosis and I still need to keep telling myself that I've lost nearly 40lbs which isn't bad going.
So it's 3 weeks on Friday to the party so as long as I stay 100% SS I know I can have at least another half a stone off.

Day 83 - 86 FOCUS!!!

I don't know where the time is going at the minute, the weekend has flown over. Had a quiet night on Friday and was in bed for 8 o clock. Think I was just in a bad fettle after only losing 1/2 a lb. Saturday we had a lovely day just pottering about, Dave went for a run and I did some housework. Saturday night we went to Blyth as Dave's friend was playing in Nikhs. Later on we went back to Claire and Chris' and were later joined by Emma and Lee, turned into a bit of a late one but had a great night.
Sunday we went to the Block and Tackle to see my mam and dad with Lewis and his friend then went back to mine.
I was training yesterday at The Caledonian Hotel in Jesmond which was bloody borning but didn't get finished late so wasn't too bad. Watched Indiana Jones don't know which one but the latest one, last night, it was OK, not really my cup of tea but Leesco liked it which has resulted in her getting the lego game for the wi.
Diet wise, everything going OK, not having much in the way of add a meal just a small amount of chicken with salad. I am 100% focused and really motivated as I've just ordered 7 dresses for my birthday oops. Well obviously I'm not keeping them all but maybe 2 ha ha. Not long now, only 4 weeks to go.
Dave is excited for his birthday on Saturday, me and Elise are going to make him breakfast in bed then give him all of his presents. Elise is going away to her dad's about lunch time then me and Dave will be heading up to Wooler after that. woo hoo x
My mam's just called into work for a coffee and shown me the brochure of where they are going for their holidays, my god it is fabulous, they are going to Cancun in Mexico, it is unbelievable. Lucky things, we still haven't booked but are thinking of just booking last minute in September.

Day 81 - 82 ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Been weighed and have only lost 0.5lbs, not very happy, really need to get a hold of myself, it's add a meal this week too which is really daunting but just need to be really disciplined and then hopefully won't put any on next week then back to Soul Source the week after with hopefully a good weight loss. Well fingers crossed anyway.
Going to have a quiet weekend, just the 3 of us staying in tonight and we've got a few blue rays to watch. Gran Torino, Watchmen and Ghost town so that should keep us busy. Watched Marley and me the other night, put it this way I came to work with swollen eyes the next day as it is so sad. :0(
Dave is going up to Wooler in the morning to sort some things out at Grandpa's house then not a lot planned after that.
Going to go away and have a little word with myself as the way I'm feeling you would think I had put a bloody stone on. On a lighter note I tried a dress of our Cerrie's on that I couldn't get the zip up on last week and this week it fits, so maybe I've lost measurements but not weight this week??

Day 76 - 80 Missing Leesco!

Had a really busy weekend. Went to Ladies day on Saturday which was really good. Sun was shining and it was really nice apart from the stinking toilets and the fact that you had to que for 40 mins. But hey ho. After the races I went back and met Dave, Lewis and Ross at the Block and Tackle then headed over to Blyth to meet up with Joanna and her friends Linda and Nicola. Had a fab night and had a sore stomach from laughing so much. Sunday Joanna made dinner for everyone and with Elise still being away at Pony Club camp we stayed all day and had another fab day. Playing silly games and just being generally stupid.
Monday I had taken off so me and Dave had a really lazy day and just watched rubbish tv and snoozed on and off all day which was lovely after our hectic weekend.
Back to work yesterday and it was pretty manic, don't know why it was just crazy everyone wanted something. Didn't do much last night but it was starting to drive us crazy Elise being away, I spoke to her and she has had a fab time and said she had been round the Cross Country Course yesterday. The house is just so quiet without her, it's bizarre. It kind of got us talking about IVF again and when we should start trying again, I just don't like the thought of not having a child in the house, crazy I know. I think we will talk about it after Christmas and see how we feel then.
Anyhoo, Elise is home tonight so can't wait to see her, she said last night that she had missed us which was nice, 5 days is a long time :0( but I'm sure it will have done her the world of good.
Diet wise everything going OK, just a bit apprehensive about add a meal next week, I suppose this is the easy bit when you have not options but it's having control when you need to make choices.
Going to go home for my dinner soon as got a meeting at 1 bell so Laters x x

Day 73 - 75 Growing up :0(

Been busy the last few days, but unfortunately not in the exercise sense. Been a bit crap really. Was going to go out on the bike on Wednesday night but forgot we were all at the dentist. Just for check ups and everything is fine. Doesn't look like Elise will need a brace in her teens which is good, Dave needs a bit of work done and just a scale and polish for me.
Yesterday was really busy at work and had meetings all day however Elise's leavers mass was on at 1.30pm so had to go to that too. It was so lovely, they all did readings stating what their favourite memory of their time in St Aidan's was and it was really emotional. Then at the end of mass Mrs Leslie (head teacher) presented them all with a dvd which was played and a certificate of achievement. The dvd is amazing me and Cerrie were bleating our eyes out. It was pictures of the whole year 4 pupils throughout their time and they played Miley Cyrus - The Climb over it which made it even more tear jerking. To top it all off a few of the kids started crying as they didn't want to leave. Needless to say Leesco didn't not a single drop. Not a tear. Hard git that she is. Lol!
So today is her last day in little school, I have to say it has been a fantastic school and I think Elise will miss it, however I know she is ready for the next challenge as she is not pushing herself. Hmmm, god I sound like my mam and dad. So now comes seven weeks of jealousy of Dave and Elise being off, bah it's a hard life.
Went over to Cerrie and Mickey's last night just had a quiet night but stayed up late and watched a few episodes of Sex in the City, the old ones, it's fab.
Dave's off to Wooler today after picking Leesco up from school as she finishes half day. He's going to let the piano removal men into his granpa's house as my cousin Leanne is going to have it. Dave used to teach Leanne when she was little (bizarre I know) and he really didn't want his mam to get rid of the piano and we already have one so I asked Leanne if she would like it and she said yes so I think Dave's really pleased that it's not going too far away, keep it in the family and all.
Get weighed today at 1 bell, not too hopefull after last weeks small amount and I was a bit naughty on the alcohol front last weekend but we shall see. At the end of the day I need to keep thinking I would have had that plus lots of food too so I suppose it's a positive regardless.
Going to Ladies day tomorrow, very last minute thing but going with a few girls from work so really looking forward to it. Clare (friend from work) is taking the car so it's ideal not having to worry about getting lifts etc. We're just going in the cheap end this day as we paid £40 for tickets last year and there was no bloody difference so £20 this year, that will do us. :0)
Just back from being weighed and have lost another 3lbs woo hoo. So that's 37lbs in total. Yippee x

Day 69 - 72 Get on your bike!!

Well what can I say about the weekend? It was fab and had a great time BUT drank far too much and feel a bit guilty now. We went to Whitley Bay on Saturday which was really good, stuck to vodka and diet coke all night which I suppose is OK but then went out Sunday as well, and of course it was a case of oh come on we'll go out for dinner so I have my bar followed by a few drinks so feel quite bad about it.
Took yesterday off as knew I wouldn't be sparkling when I woke up which was just as well as I was a little tired shall we say. LOL!!
So, I'm drawing a line under the weekend and going to just plod on, up my water and continue, it could be worse I suppose, I could have stuffed my face with a pizza when I got in. I've decided also as punishment to myself, I'm going to try and start introducing some exercise into my life. I hate exercise and no matter what anyone says it's evil and I just don't enjoy it, but, I've decided I'm going to get my bike out of the shed and go on some bike rides with Elise, she is over the moon as it means she gets to go further on her bike as she's not allowed out the estate on her own. We were meant to be going tonight but Yasmin is at ours for tea and it is peeing down so tomorrow night it will be.
Started shopping for Dave's 40th which is quite exciting but can't say what for in case he reads this. I think he's decided he wants to go to Wooler on his actual birthday and Holly and Nev and a few others are going to come out too. He could change his mind before then though. Oh actually speaking of Mr M he has lost his iphone on Saturday night and is gutted, to be fair he doesn't often lose things but hey ho it's gone. Luckily he is insured so will be able to claim on that but I think it was just a ploy to get the upgraded one. He also broke up today for 7 weeks yep 7 whole bloody weeks, how evil is that. Bah. I suppose it means no housework for me though :0) which is a bonus.

Day 68 - Humph!!!

Well I've been weighed and have only lost 2.5lbs, not really that chuffed with that to be honest as I don't understand why. I haven't done anything different so I'm a bit pissed off. However on the bright side that does take me to 34lbs in total. I think I may have to start and do a bit of exercise next week me thinks. Hopefully if the weather clears up I'll get on my bike and go on some bike rides with Elise :0)
I wouldn't care I even took my pants off to get weighed as they were very wet and the last few weeks I have been weighed in a skirt. What a bummer!!!
On a "lighter" note, had a very productive day at work and tied up lots of bits and pieces that needed doing so pleased about that.

Day 65 - 67 Invites out!

Finally got our invites for our party out today, I printed them off yesterday and packed them up last night so all done and dusted, I wasn't exactly sure what the etiquette was for sending out birthday invites but at least they are out now and it gives people who have to travel plenty time to get sorted.
Well what have I been up to the last couple of days? Not an awful lot really, Elise went for her visit to St Benedicts on Tuesday which she said was good apart from the fact that she had to have stir fry for her dinner which she said wasn't very nice.
Tuesday night she went out with her dad for her grandad's birthday for a meal so by the time she got in she was bust. It was lovely though as Elise was out and Dave went for a long run so I had the house all to myself:0)
Work's been really busy the last few days so the days seem to be flying by. Last night Elise has her little friend Eli over for tea so I made spaghetti bolognese for them all which looked v nice even if I do say so myself. By the time I sorted the invites out it was 9 bells so just got bathed, watched a bit of telly then that was me ready for bed.
Not much to say really on the diet front, all doing fine, still get the odd day where I get a bit sick but hey ho it'll happen. Only 1 month 2 weeks and 5 days until our party woo hoo. I also need to add a meal in 15 days which is pretty scary.
It's Dave's 40th on the 8th of August so we are going to have a night away I think just in Wooler for that then he is having a boys night on the 15th to Morpeth, so loads of things coming up.
So, what's on this weekend? Tomorrow night, me and Dave are having gorgeous little Cerys while Mickey and Cerrie take Elise and Liam to see the new Harry Potter. Saturday morning Elise will be going to her dad's then Holly and Nev are coming down and we're going out with them, Ross and Lewis and his friend. So looking forward to that should be fun.

Day 62 - 64 New member of the Muckle family coming soon. (No I'm not pregnant)

Had another great weekend, went to Tynemouth on Saturday and it was really good, we went for an Italian's for lunch, well the girls did and I had a pint of water then we had a wonder round and went to the fantastic Raspberry Bizzare and bought Elise some bits and pieces. We then went to the pub for a few then back to Leanne's. I got a lift with Emma and Lee and went to Claire's later on and stayed there as she was having a party for her friends 40th so had a great night and managed to avoid all of the food that was about.
Sunday Dave picked me up around lunch time and we went home and just chilled for the rest of the day, I got a text off Elise informing me that her rabbit at her dad's had had babies and could she "pritty, pritty please have one for home". So, I have relented and said she can as long as her and Dave clean it out and her grandad makes the hutch so we will have a new addition to the Muckle family in a few weeks, hmm don't think Lola will be too happy.
Elise has her first full day at St Benedicts tomorrow just as an intake day but she will be having her dinner there so I think she's quite excited. £2.05 a day dinner money, bah not blinking cheap. Then I've just paid £45 for part of her uniform, that's just for jumper's and P.E kit.
A year ago today we were having a lovely day at Matfen Hall for our Claire and Chris' wedding, so Happy Anniversary to them, I have to say it was a lot nicer day a year ago as it is peeing down here.
I've been looking at dresses for my party and I've seen a fab Karen Millen one which i love, can't wait to go shopping but need to wait until nearer the time me thinks.

Day 61 - It's Friday :0)

Just been and got weighed and have lost 3.2 lbs, pleased with that but would still prefer 4lbs, but hey ho.
Went to the Sage to watch Elise last night, she was fantastic, I was very proud of her. It was a really late night though poor souls, they had had two dress rehersals and the performance was on for nearly three hours so we didn't get in until after 11, so to say we had a tired little bean would be an undersatement. She went to bed and was asleep before I got upstairs to say goodnight.
She's been into work with me this morning and been fantastic, she has put labels on all of the payroll envelopes ready to be posted out and designed, coloured in and laminated a book mark. Dave picked us up at 12 and I went and got weighed, Elise lay down in the back of the car so bless her I think she's still knacked. I'm back at work and they were going to go home and let her chill for a couple of hours while Dave washes the car and cuts the grass.
Think Cerrie, Mickey and the kids and our neighbours Janine and Chris are coming round tonight. Elise is off to her dad's in the morning then my dad's taking us to Tynemouth about lunch time so should be a nice day.
Got loads left to do at work before I leave at 4.30 so had better get cracking.

Day 60 - Leesco hits the stage!!

Going to the sage at Gateshead tonight, Elise is in the "catholic extended services partnership" basically a performance put on by the catholic schools in the area. We went last year and it was really good. She has gone straight from school so had to take a packed tea much to her disgust as she's not really one for packed lunches. She ended up taking a dry bread bun, some hula hoops, a chomp, a yoghurt and a jelly. Oh and some cucumber. She's a funnyun. So we need to be there for 7 bells, can't wait.
Get weighed again tomorrow hoping for a good weight loss however I did have a good few cheeky vods last Saturday but we shall see. It's teacher training day tomorrow but Dave is having to work in the morning so Elise is going to come into work with me. I'm going to set her away doing some admin work, well never too young to learn. It's just until 11ish I'm sure she'll enjoy it.
Going to Tynemouth on Saturday, Dave's off to Wooler to go out with the boys and I'm going out with my mam, Cerrie, Aunty Stella, Emma and Leanne. We try to get together well originally we said every month but it doesn't always work out like that so anyway we've decided on Tynemouth this time as there is a festival on so should be fun. Only thing is we also go for lunch / tea so I'll be sitting like a bit of a loon, but hey ho.

Day 58 - 59 Tired!!!

Good morning, good morning, I am so tired today. Yesterday went well, well, as well as a funeral can go. We left from Grandpa's house and went to Ingram church where the vicar gave a lovely service and read the most lovely pieces which Sheila had written, it was just perfect, then a cousin read a poem from his book which was also lovely. He was then buried next to Dave's Gran. I haven't been to Ingram for years and had forgotten how beautiful it was, it's right next to where Dave grew up. There are now some gorgeous holiday cottages there, I'm definitely going to take Leesco up next time we're off and we have a nice day. After the service we went back to Embleton Hall which again was really nice.
We got home about 5.30ish and went to get Elise from Cerrie's then Dave went for a run and I made their tea's.
I've been feeling really hungry the last few days and the only thing I can think is I haven't been drinking enought water with me being off work so I'm half way through my 2 litre bottle which is sitting on my desk. Also Dave say's my breath is honking (he's so kind) so drinking more water should help that too.
Watched the Michael Jackson tribute last night and found it really sad but fantastic at the same time, I thought it was so sad for the family and his children. I thought John Mayer was amazing, so brilliant but quite understated. I thought Usher was a bit much mind going and caressing the coffin and that. bah. So anyway little grandpa can go down in history as being buried on the same day as the King of Pop.
My cousin Louise (Claire who I mention regularly's sister) is starting Lighter Life today so good luck to her, as I've told her she will be feeling fab in no time.

Day 55 - 57 Fab Weekend!!

Monday again, god they come round quick. Had a really good weekend. Friday night went to Jugs' house and she had the girls round, so quite a late night. Saturday morning we were up early and took the kids to Bounce in Blyth. We then took them to McDonalds then dropped Elise off with her dad. After this we went to see my Grandma Mary. She is in a care home in Blyth but unfortunately she is not too good, she didn't recognise us at all, she is just a little shell really.
Met mam and dad after that and went with them for dinner to Scaramangas but I was very good and just had a pint of water and a black coffee.
Went to Whitley on Saturday night and had a fab time, got rather tipsy as we were out from about 5.30pm oops. Didn't do a lot yesterday, didn't go to mams for dinner so just had a nice quiet time in the house, later on Cerrie came over with the bambinos. Picked Dave up from the airport at 8.10pm, me and Elise went up a bit earlier and had a coffee, we were very jealous watching all the people getting ready to go on holiday. Dave's plane was on time, he had a great time and has really caught the sun.
Got loads on at work today, so busy, busy day for me. Then tomorrow it's Grandpa's funeral, the service is at a church in Ingram then afterwards at Embleton Hall.

Day 54 - Weigh day!!

Just a quickie got weighed today and lost another 3.2lbs so lets call it 3lbs to air on the side of caution. Quite pleased with that, I am feeling really good at the minute in myself, I've not had any heartburn since the doc gave me some tablets and just feel a lot less sluggish and tired.
Went to Metro yesterday afternoon and Leesco got a fantastic little net book, we got it in the sale for £249 so she is over the moon, I wouldn't mind one myself. She also got lots of little bits and pieces from Claire's accessories and River Island, she got some sunglasses, a phone case, and hairbands and stuff. So all in all a very happy little girl :0)
Going to Jugs' (Joanna's) house tonight for a few drinkies, obviously just a couple of vods and diet c. Then Whitley tomorrow woo hoo, hope the weather picks up though. Dave got away OK this morning, was up at the crack of dawn and seemed to be really looking forward to it. He text me earlier saying they had arrived and the hotel was nice.

Day 52 - 53 She's 9!!!!

Well it was Leesco's birthday yesterday and I can't believe she is 9, don't know where the time has gone. She had a lovely day yesterday, she was up early opening all her presents which she seemed to like all of them and she got £345 cash, £20 Argos voucher and £20 New Look voucher so she has done ridiculously well, unbelievably spoilt but she's worth it. She has a lovely party last night, there were six of them there and they were all very well behaved. We had a game of cricket on the green then had pizzas and birthday cake.
Finishing half day today as going to the Metro Centre for her to spend her money, she wants a net book which she has seen which will also come in useful for her work at middle school so good choice me thinks.
Dave leaves early tomorrow morning and Mickey (sister's husband) leaves today so me and Cerrie are really looking forward to our girly weekend. Slight change of plan to Saturday, we are now going to go to Whitley Bay as it was going to cause problems for lifts etc to town, so we're meeting up with Mrs E, Miss B and Miss K. Woo hoo, can't wait. Weigh day again tomorrow, mind they come round quick.
