Day 62 - 64 New member of the Muckle family coming soon. (No I'm not pregnant)

Had another great weekend, went to Tynemouth on Saturday and it was really good, we went for an Italian's for lunch, well the girls did and I had a pint of water then we had a wonder round and went to the fantastic Raspberry Bizzare and bought Elise some bits and pieces. We then went to the pub for a few then back to Leanne's. I got a lift with Emma and Lee and went to Claire's later on and stayed there as she was having a party for her friends 40th so had a great night and managed to avoid all of the food that was about.
Sunday Dave picked me up around lunch time and we went home and just chilled for the rest of the day, I got a text off Elise informing me that her rabbit at her dad's had had babies and could she "pritty, pritty please have one for home". So, I have relented and said she can as long as her and Dave clean it out and her grandad makes the hutch so we will have a new addition to the Muckle family in a few weeks, hmm don't think Lola will be too happy.
Elise has her first full day at St Benedicts tomorrow just as an intake day but she will be having her dinner there so I think she's quite excited. £2.05 a day dinner money, bah not blinking cheap. Then I've just paid £45 for part of her uniform, that's just for jumper's and P.E kit.
A year ago today we were having a lovely day at Matfen Hall for our Claire and Chris' wedding, so Happy Anniversary to them, I have to say it was a lot nicer day a year ago as it is peeing down here.
I've been looking at dresses for my party and I've seen a fab Karen Millen one which i love, can't wait to go shopping but need to wait until nearer the time me thinks.

Day 61 - It's Friday :0)

Just been and got weighed and have lost 3.2 lbs, pleased with that but would still prefer 4lbs, but hey ho.
Went to the Sage to watch Elise last night, she was fantastic, I was very proud of her. It was a really late night though poor souls, they had had two dress rehersals and the performance was on for nearly three hours so we didn't get in until after 11, so to say we had a tired little bean would be an undersatement. She went to bed and was asleep before I got upstairs to say goodnight.
She's been into work with me this morning and been fantastic, she has put labels on all of the payroll envelopes ready to be posted out and designed, coloured in and laminated a book mark. Dave picked us up at 12 and I went and got weighed, Elise lay down in the back of the car so bless her I think she's still knacked. I'm back at work and they were going to go home and let her chill for a couple of hours while Dave washes the car and cuts the grass.
Think Cerrie, Mickey and the kids and our neighbours Janine and Chris are coming round tonight. Elise is off to her dad's in the morning then my dad's taking us to Tynemouth about lunch time so should be a nice day.
Got loads left to do at work before I leave at 4.30 so had better get cracking.

Day 60 - Leesco hits the stage!!

Going to the sage at Gateshead tonight, Elise is in the "catholic extended services partnership" basically a performance put on by the catholic schools in the area. We went last year and it was really good. She has gone straight from school so had to take a packed tea much to her disgust as she's not really one for packed lunches. She ended up taking a dry bread bun, some hula hoops, a chomp, a yoghurt and a jelly. Oh and some cucumber. She's a funnyun. So we need to be there for 7 bells, can't wait.
Get weighed again tomorrow hoping for a good weight loss however I did have a good few cheeky vods last Saturday but we shall see. It's teacher training day tomorrow but Dave is having to work in the morning so Elise is going to come into work with me. I'm going to set her away doing some admin work, well never too young to learn. It's just until 11ish I'm sure she'll enjoy it.
Going to Tynemouth on Saturday, Dave's off to Wooler to go out with the boys and I'm going out with my mam, Cerrie, Aunty Stella, Emma and Leanne. We try to get together well originally we said every month but it doesn't always work out like that so anyway we've decided on Tynemouth this time as there is a festival on so should be fun. Only thing is we also go for lunch / tea so I'll be sitting like a bit of a loon, but hey ho.

Day 58 - 59 Tired!!!

Good morning, good morning, I am so tired today. Yesterday went well, well, as well as a funeral can go. We left from Grandpa's house and went to Ingram church where the vicar gave a lovely service and read the most lovely pieces which Sheila had written, it was just perfect, then a cousin read a poem from his book which was also lovely. He was then buried next to Dave's Gran. I haven't been to Ingram for years and had forgotten how beautiful it was, it's right next to where Dave grew up. There are now some gorgeous holiday cottages there, I'm definitely going to take Leesco up next time we're off and we have a nice day. After the service we went back to Embleton Hall which again was really nice.
We got home about 5.30ish and went to get Elise from Cerrie's then Dave went for a run and I made their tea's.
I've been feeling really hungry the last few days and the only thing I can think is I haven't been drinking enought water with me being off work so I'm half way through my 2 litre bottle which is sitting on my desk. Also Dave say's my breath is honking (he's so kind) so drinking more water should help that too.
Watched the Michael Jackson tribute last night and found it really sad but fantastic at the same time, I thought it was so sad for the family and his children. I thought John Mayer was amazing, so brilliant but quite understated. I thought Usher was a bit much mind going and caressing the coffin and that. bah. So anyway little grandpa can go down in history as being buried on the same day as the King of Pop.
My cousin Louise (Claire who I mention regularly's sister) is starting Lighter Life today so good luck to her, as I've told her she will be feeling fab in no time.

Day 55 - 57 Fab Weekend!!

Monday again, god they come round quick. Had a really good weekend. Friday night went to Jugs' house and she had the girls round, so quite a late night. Saturday morning we were up early and took the kids to Bounce in Blyth. We then took them to McDonalds then dropped Elise off with her dad. After this we went to see my Grandma Mary. She is in a care home in Blyth but unfortunately she is not too good, she didn't recognise us at all, she is just a little shell really.
Met mam and dad after that and went with them for dinner to Scaramangas but I was very good and just had a pint of water and a black coffee.
Went to Whitley on Saturday night and had a fab time, got rather tipsy as we were out from about 5.30pm oops. Didn't do a lot yesterday, didn't go to mams for dinner so just had a nice quiet time in the house, later on Cerrie came over with the bambinos. Picked Dave up from the airport at 8.10pm, me and Elise went up a bit earlier and had a coffee, we were very jealous watching all the people getting ready to go on holiday. Dave's plane was on time, he had a great time and has really caught the sun.
Got loads on at work today, so busy, busy day for me. Then tomorrow it's Grandpa's funeral, the service is at a church in Ingram then afterwards at Embleton Hall.

Day 54 - Weigh day!!

Just a quickie got weighed today and lost another 3.2lbs so lets call it 3lbs to air on the side of caution. Quite pleased with that, I am feeling really good at the minute in myself, I've not had any heartburn since the doc gave me some tablets and just feel a lot less sluggish and tired.
Went to Metro yesterday afternoon and Leesco got a fantastic little net book, we got it in the sale for £249 so she is over the moon, I wouldn't mind one myself. She also got lots of little bits and pieces from Claire's accessories and River Island, she got some sunglasses, a phone case, and hairbands and stuff. So all in all a very happy little girl :0)
Going to Jugs' (Joanna's) house tonight for a few drinkies, obviously just a couple of vods and diet c. Then Whitley tomorrow woo hoo, hope the weather picks up though. Dave got away OK this morning, was up at the crack of dawn and seemed to be really looking forward to it. He text me earlier saying they had arrived and the hotel was nice.

Day 52 - 53 She's 9!!!!

Well it was Leesco's birthday yesterday and I can't believe she is 9, don't know where the time has gone. She had a lovely day yesterday, she was up early opening all her presents which she seemed to like all of them and she got £345 cash, £20 Argos voucher and £20 New Look voucher so she has done ridiculously well, unbelievably spoilt but she's worth it. She has a lovely party last night, there were six of them there and they were all very well behaved. We had a game of cricket on the green then had pizzas and birthday cake.
Finishing half day today as going to the Metro Centre for her to spend her money, she wants a net book which she has seen which will also come in useful for her work at middle school so good choice me thinks.
Dave leaves early tomorrow morning and Mickey (sister's husband) leaves today so me and Cerrie are really looking forward to our girly weekend. Slight change of plan to Saturday, we are now going to go to Whitley Bay as it was going to cause problems for lifts etc to town, so we're meeting up with Mrs E, Miss B and Miss K. Woo hoo, can't wait. Weigh day again tomorrow, mind they come round quick.
